To listen to the Jumma Bayan, you would need Adobe Flash Player v10.0 or higher. If you have the Player
already installed in your PC, you should see something like this in the Bayan Page (Player at the right).
The title text would be scrolling across in the player box and you should be able to listen to the
bayan - as soon as you click on the Play button (provided you have the speaker properly installed).
If you believe Flash Player is already installed in your PC, but the Bayan is not showing up/not playing,
it is possible that you may be having an older version of the Flash Player. In that case, you would first
need to uninstall the older Flash Player - before installing the latest one.
Check Add/Remove Programs in your Windows Control Panel. Remove any program linked to the old
Flash Player.
Sometimes, you will not be able to do this - using the Windows' Add/Remove program. Flash Players used by
browsers are ActiveX controls and wouldn't show up as Windows program. You can uninstall them using the
Uninstaller provided by Adobe. Click here to download the uninstaller for Windows.
As an additional measure, Go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromedia\Flash\ (or equivalent path for your
Windows installation) and delete all .ocx files.
Now you are ready to install the latest version of Flash Player. It is recommended that you close
all other open browser windows before continuing with the installation. Click the download link (in the
Adobe website) to automatically download and install Adobe Flash Player into Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Depending on your security settings, you may see a Security Warning dialog box like below.
Click Install to install the ActiveX control.
Click here to download Flash Player.
After successful completion of the installation, you will get the confirmation message. Now you are ready to
listen to the Jumma Bayans.
